Giving our Members a Voice
IMHA works closely with government at the state and local level to ensure our industry is heard.
IMHA has political representation and actively lobbies on behalf of all our member groups. As a member, you will have a voice in deciding and defining laws affecting our industry. We monitor ordinances and work to educate local officials. The state of Idaho recognizes IMHA as the official voice of the manufactured homes industry in Idaho.
Education and Training
IMHA offers educational opportunities to its members throughout the year.
Whether required continuing education hours for certified installers, or best practices for retailers or community owners we are committing to growing this member benefit. Currently IMHA offers both in person and online courses to meet state licensing requirements and will begin implementing professional development programs in 2023.
Networking Opportunities
IMHA provides networking opportunities for our unique industry.
The association has been instrumental in bringing manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and the finance industry together for industry related events. Community owners can benefit from meetings where common issues are addressed and discussed. Installers are provided opportunities to network with building inspectors to share issues.
